How to GENERATE MS Excel files from a Database and push the file to client browser?

I am writing JSP Stuff.
Could you please tell me how to GENERATE MS Excel files from a Database(MYSQL, whatever...) and push the file to client browser?

If possible, can the JSP/Servlet generates a graph from this Excel file automatically to the client?
