why don't you just try using datetimepicker if you want to have clock (hour and minutes) shown ? It got the up and down button where you can select increase or decrease the hour or minute.

You have to select the proper OCX before you can start using Datetime picker.

Go to the "Project" menu, and select "Components". In the "Controls" tab, look for "Microsoft Windows Common-Controls-2 6.0". Select it (by tick-ing the tick box) and then you'll see quite a number of new VB control appearing on the left side of the VB design view page.

Look for a VB control which name is "DTPicker". Drag or double click them to your form, and there you have it. The DateTimePicker control.

If you want to have the up and down arrow available on the box, simply set the "UpDown" property of the DTPicker to True. You can set the max date and min date of the DTPicker according to your needs.

To change the DTPicker from date to time, you need to adjust the Format properties to "2. dtpTime". And there you have it.

Good Luck
