ICS problem : host running 2000 pro, client running XP home over a WiFi network
Hi,
I got the following configuration working for a few days but had to move my wireless adapter on a USB hub and since then I can't get ICS to work. Everything works fine but the client can't browse the internet. Any help more than welcome!
ADSL connection on host works fine.
WiFi network is ok (host and client can talk by name and address).
Client can ping any valid IP address from the web but NOT by name.
Client uses DHCP. I have uninstalled my firewall on host.

Consider this question closed. In the end it was due to ZoneAlarm firewall. Although it was disabled, it still loaded a process in memory called vsmon.exe.
ZoneAlarm does not run as a service so I thought I could just disable it but it didn't turn it off! I have now uninstalled it and use Sygate instead (and the personal edition even works with ICS).
As only Tarun bothered to reply I'll give him the points even though it didn't help.

I tried that before and it didn't help. I tried it again tonight, just to be sure, but it still does not work. I think ICS works (client can ping www addresses) but the name resolution seems to be the problem.
Help! I'm going insane!
