I am using Windows 98, Office 2000. I just downloaded o2ksr1a.exe from Microsoft homepage to upgrade my Office 2000 to Office 2000 SR-1. However, in the process of upgrading, my pc was hanged, then I re-booted my pc and upgrade by click the o2ksr1a.exe file to continue upgrade for several times.

Finally, it was upgraded to Office 2000 SR-1. But once I open any office tools, i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Frontpage and Outlook, they will automatically close themsevles suddenly after a few seconds.

I want to uninstall Office 2000 SR-1 in Control Panel and install the original Office 2000 again. However, when I try to do this, there is error message "2711" to stop me from unistall Office 2000 SR-1. I can't even uninstall it. Please kind advise and help in urgent basic.

Thousand thanks.
