Hi all

I have a program that updates records in (.DB) table by downloading the new table then batchmove from the old table to the new table (update,insert)...

what I am asking is how I can batchmove from the new table in the website(http://domain.com/table.db) directly to the existing table... without having to download all the new table coz its too big(8MB) and the users don't need all the table, they just need the new or updated records

You have to create a Web Server application that:
- Accepts authentication information and query criteria.
- Implement the query.
- Return to you the query results which in your case the new or updated records only.

If you have access to the web server; then you can code a Web Server application.
"From Delphi: File, New, Other" from the "New" tab select "Web Server Application".

This application is simply a program that executes at the webserver whenever you call it as if it was a webpage.
You pass the query parameters as you do with any webpage.
For example: http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/MyApp.exe?cmd=getrecords&DateFrom=20030310&DateTo=20030312&UserID=usr_id&UserPWD=whatever_pwd
The exe will execute on the server; and it will then return to you the results only. In form of XML, comma seprated values or whatever convention you code it to implement.
