Time Clock Error , My time is wrong in win98 : how do I reslove this ?

Im not sure when this started to happen I have scandisk and defragged to no avail .When I click on the time to adjust time I get a hour glass for a short time and then nothing , I cant adjust the time ? I hope theres a simple solution to this without reinstalling windows . Thank You Chuck

you can download a software called atomic time. this will update your computer's time from the internet automatically

I have tired to the atomic-clock but it just reads about 30 mins ahead ahead like my clock on my pc and I cant ajust the time and ping doest work either with the firewall disabled . Any other ideas in adjusting the time on the pc ? Thank You ! Chuck

What direction does a person go in learning troubleshooting windows for a small example my clock time any suggestions cempasha ?

well i can suggest you to read some articles if you have interest. also even if you are not going to ask a question come here and check the questions posted in here. even i've learned quite a lot in this site.. also dont forget that, best way to learn it is to play around with your computer :)

Thanks again cempasha :o) ! Im so happy you told me how to correct the time error on my PC . I knew there was a way in dos but I couldnt find the answer in my dos book . Thanks Again Chuck :o)
