Help - Dying Hard Drive

A customer's hard drive (Samsung 8.4 GB IDE) is on its way out.

I was able to run Steve Gibson's utility SpinRite 5.0 on this drive, and after about 14 hours of work it showed that it was supposedly able to see and recover data.

However, when I try to access the drive, it might show a bit of a directory or other parts of the file system, but then it seems like the heads get stuck in a loop where they click repeatedly.

I currently have this drive in my freezer at home, I'm going to try accessing it immediately after removing it from the cold (before condensation can set in) and see if that makes a difference.

Failing this, I need to know of any software out there which can read and transfer data from a failing drive.  SpinRite obviously was able to read some parts of the drive and bypass whatever defaults have the heads continually re-seek, but it doesn't seem to allow me to copy the data it finds.

Is there a utility for this purpose?
