I wrote a server in java that is basically a sort of instant messaging server that me and friends use to communicate.
The problem is my internet connection is slow and unreliable, so running the server on my computer is not the best. I tried running the program on a friends webhost, but it has a firewall that doesnt allow clients to connect (program uses sockets).
Does anyone know of a webhost that would suit my needs? I expect traffic to be minimal (less than 5GB per month), and I dont expect I would need much webspace either.
