Easiest way to distribute a service pack

I have heard about scripting and things that can make a service pack update easy to distribute. I really do not want my end users to have to click through a bunch of stuff, I would get a hundred calls. I really want something I can setup to happen at a certain time or at login. Any suggestions with examples would be great.
Thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Premiernc,
My best sugestion is to package it if possible.  This does require a 3rd party software like Wise Installer or WinInstall.  These products record the install process and create an exe that can be installed without user intervention.  You can also run them with switches to have the install be silent (switches documented in the product's documentation).  As far as delivery, one way is throught the login script.  You should build in an identifier to the package and adjust the login script to look for it so it can tell if the update has already run.  If you want to send it out off-hours, it may be best to use SMS (if you have it on your network) or a like tool.  Other options for delivery off hours might be to log in from home and manually send it, but that wouldn't be my prefered choice.
You can learn more about Wise and WinInstall here:

Hope that helps,
