icons don't move

I HAVE WIN 98 (SE) .SUDDENLY FROM LAST TWO DAYS I AM UNABLE TO DRAG AND DROP MY ICONS.I HAVE CHECKED FOR ERRORS AND VIRUSES BUT EVERYTHING IS GOOD.PLEASE HELP ME.

First kill the CAPS, that means shouting and we do not like others shouting at us.

Try restoring your registry and see if that helps. Boot to a DOS prompt or boot to a Win98 bootdisk, at the prompt type "scanreg /restore" and hit enter. Now choose a date that is older then when your problem first started.
