Linux Cloning

Hello
i want to clone my RedHat system. i had a dualboot system with 2000 and RHat 8.0 instaled. i tried partition magic & drive image. on both win 2000 was coppied successfully but when i reached Linux partition (ext2/3) i got an error & linux partition was not copied.plz guide me how should i clone my dual boot system. i tried both, by putting boot loader GRUB on MBR and separate partition , but no change.

dd bs=8192 if=/dev/<src> of=/dev/<dst>

where you replace <src> and <dst> with the appropriate device names (bs= depends on your hardware, if in doubt just omit it)
