I am using a window 2000 server as PDC. I had installed DNS and WINS.
My Registered Doman Name is ezgourmet4u.com, I had ask my doman name host company change the DNS point to wongspdc.ezgourmet4u.com, so I think I can have more control but I think my DNS setup messup, I can ping the wongspdc.ezgourmet4u.com, it does forward to my local IP address, but I can not ping www.ezgourmet4u.com ( for web site ) or remote.ezgourmet4u.com ( for citrix ) or can't get the mail.ezgourmet4u.com to work too.  I had tried everthing, even I had re-load the whole Opeartion System.                        Zone file name -- wongspdc.ezgourmet4u.com.dns

My system Static IP : 192.168.123.131 , Subnet 255.255.255.0 ,  Gateway 192.168.123.254 , DNS 192.168.123.131 , computer name is wongspdc, My local doman name is XXXXX, And I have open the port and point them to the 192.168.123.131 at the router.

Most important:it looks like you are trying to use 192.168.x.x private subnet addresses on the public internet. You need to assign the www record to a public IP address. If your WWW site runs on the system whose IP address is 24.221.45.224 then you need to create an alias for the WWW because right now when checking from the internet your entry is pointing ot 192.168.123.131 which is NOT a public address and will not work unless you configure NAT at your router for this system

Else:

We need a bit more information about your setup.

I used the linux dig command to verify that DNS is pointing to your DNS server which is on the public internet address - so that part is fine. But on your DNS server lets talk about the setup. Do you have a host record for your mail server? If not make a host record for mail.ezgourmet4r.com then afterward you will need to set up a mx record for the mail server. If your mail server is not local you only need to create a MX record to point to your mail server. Additionally, do you have a host record for www.ezgourmet.com loaded on your DNS server? After creating the record did you restart the DNS service by rt click -> restart? After that did you look at the Start of Authority record and click increment so that it forces a zone transfer to the world?

As you said, I had reload the DNS, it looks like it is working now, but I have problem with the email, I am using exchange server 5.5, Locally it is working fine, but I cann't sent any email to outside.
I had Forwardlookup zone :
ezgourmet4u.com---mail....host.....24.221.45.244
                  (same as parent folder)...Mail Exchange...{10}mail.ezgourmet4u.com

ezgourmet4u.local--mail..mail exchange...[10] mail.ezgourmet4u.com

I had open my port 25 and 110 and point to the my exchange server IP.
