Installation of W2K on a Compaq notebook (Armada M300) results in "EULA not found"

Hi,

I want to install W2K Prof. on a Compaq Armada M300.
The disk is empty (i.e. fdisk created the one and only partition on it)

The CD-Drive is connected via PCMCIA.
My first problem is that the M300 does not make any attempt to boot from CD.
Although the boot sequence is set to floppy first, Multi Bay second, hard disk third and ethernet fourth...

When a startup the M300 with the 4 W2k Startup floppies I am able to select W2K installation.
But as soon as I see some action on the CD drive, the system responds with
"... EULA not found; Press F3 to abort..."

What is going wrong?

As an alternative I tried to install W98 and update to W2K.
But W98 setup does not support the PCMCIA interface....

Thanks in advance

Stefan
