I want to display an image in a window, that has been loaded from the internet...

Can anyone give me a brief example of:
how to save an image from an URL to disk
how to display an image, loaded from any url.

Image image = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage("http://www.xxxx.com/some-image.gif");

Or

JPanel p = new JPanel();
p.add(new ImageIcon("http://www.xxxx.com/some-image.gif"));
