Atmel 89c51 assembly program to send an AT command through rs232

hello everyone ... this is my first post here and i'm willing to find an answer to my question and i appreciate ur help ... my subject is sending an AT command from a mcu to a gsm engine connected with an rs232 cable ... but i dunno how i would send or recieve data to it ... also i need to monitor if any message is recieved at the engine ... so i need an interrupt and buffer but i never done anything such as this ... thnx

Just use HyperTerminal to connect to the gsm engine.

?? i want to use a microcontroller to control the process ... i managed to use HyperTerminal already ... thnx anyway

for AT89C52 it's so easy, try to see the datasheet for AT89C52
www.atmel.com/atmel/acrobat/doc0313.pdf 
dealing with RS is so clear and easy....
-define RS mode, for you it's interrupt mode
-define baudrate
-begin RS work
-for reading
   *when receiving a byte, an interrupt is arised
   *in interrupt service routine read the received value   from special register "SBUF"
   *reset RS port
-for writing
   *write the value into a the special register "SBUF"
   *in interrupt service routine reset RS port

doing these step just need the names of control registers and the suitable values, and that what you can check from the datasheet.
