You might have more luck getting a response to this if you post it in the JAVA topic area.

do you yourself write the java code for the applet? I mean you'll have to addEventHandler to the button and call:
try {
  getAppletcontext().showDocument(new URL("http://www.abc.com"));
} catch (MalformedURLException me) {}

What's wrong with javascript?

Why would you use a java applet to emulate something javascript does better?

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.
