Please follow the link.

Here the problem is when the user opts to Overwrite an existing file but later on when the application asks to confirm the Overwrite the existing file... The code generates an error and the control flow shifts to label "err:" .. here though i've closed all the related instances .. still an instance of the "Excel" application is running in the memory.. How can I close that specific instance.. Or u can tell me is there a way to catch a ruuning instance of an application... Solution is required urgently and ASAP... All realated suggestion for changes in code are also welcome..

shorry, how do you run this code and in which line do you get the error?
Also, why do you set W to nothing afer populate the sheet and why do you use those labels?

Also, if you could, excel has an intrinsic function of Range object called copyfromrecordset with a recordset parameter (97 with DAO recordset and 2000 with ADO recordset)
Yo wouldn't need a loop with it.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

CleanupPing does not respond to posts.  In the future, please do not accept any answers from CleanupPing.  Inside of the CleanupPing message was a link to how to close the question and that link includes what to do when you have solved the question yourself.  Please take time to read this now.  I am handling this question by refunding your points so you won't have to do anything more with this one, but please be more careful in the future.  Thanks
