GUI programming in  linux

hai friends,

       for my project,i need to create some gui tools such as toolbox and command button and getting i/p from the textbox,so friends i  need  the information or source code to create textbox in c or c++ in LINUX environment,so pls send info as soon as possible

You can try using QT for developing GUI in Linux. QT is basically C++ programming. Its pretty straightforward to program  and  it has got a very good IDE for developing good looking GUI applications. There are many examples in their documentation to get you started.

  Try to use Kylix, it's IDE for Linux that you can work with C++/Delphi languages and use IDE and create full GUI like windows, and will compile to native linux excutable

there's open edition that you can downlaod it free from Borland site
