3Dlabs (permedia 2) and Intel (810 chip set)

What is the major difference and similarity between 3Dlabs graphics driver (Permedia 2 chip set) and Intel graphics driver (810 chip set)?
1 Solution
Well, the first, and biggest difference would be that the Permidia 2 is a graphics chip that get's integrated in to a regular video card and the Intel 810 Graphics processor is imbedded in a motherboard chipset.

As far as the drivers themselves go, they're as different as any two similar function drivers, so you're not going to get very far if you're trying to use one driver for the other hardware.

Other than that I'm thinking we'll need some more input to what you're looking for.
