error message: C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER4.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt
Whenever I runs games such as Championship manager 4, the computer will pop up the message that the program has an error and needs to be terminated. The error report contains a file named
C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1 \Temp\WER4 .tmp.dir00 \appcompat .txt
which could not be found in my computer. It seems that my computer can play all the games for only a short period and then something will happen.
For warcraft3, I received the 0xC0000005 ACCESS VIOLATION. For command and conquer generals, the game just jump back to windows after i only started the first mission with command and conquer generals and technical difficulties these two things on my window taskbar and the com just hang there. I have tried updating my video card drivers and got my windows update but it seems useless to my situation. By the way, my com is running uder windows xp home edition and here's my com specificaions:
P4 2.4Ghz
80Ghz hard disk
512MB ram (kingston)
video card: ATI Radeon 9100

I still couldn't find the source for my error as practically every program seems to have this problem in my computer.
