I originally had Windows 98 installed on my laptop, but decided I wanted to try out Windows 2000. I didn't want to install over 98 so I created a seperate partition. I have lots of free space now on my W98 partition, but am quickly running out of space on the W2K partition, can I safely "shrink" the partition size of the Windows 98 and move the W2K partition "over to the left" (Paritition Magic..) without having boot problems into the W2K O.S. ?

Yes.
Partition magic will do the work (you should backup your data...just in case)
