allowzerolength
Hello!
I am using Delphi 6 and Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider to get a connection to a “.mdb-database”. The SQL-statement “create table testtable (textfield VarChar(10) NOT NULL)” creates a new table with the textfield ‘textfield’. It is not allowed to put a NULL-value in this field. But it is also not allowed to put an empty string in this field. The setting allowzerostring is false. How can I change this setting, so that empty strings are accepted? (I am using the ADO-components.)
