Share CD on a Windows 2000 system so it can be mounted by a UNIX System

I need to install a software product on a UNIX machine in another city. We only have 1 UNIX machine on sight and it's behind a locked door which is a pain to get into.
I would like to do one of the following:
1) Share out the CD on my WINDOWS 2000 machine to the target machine and have the target mount it.
2) Create a "virtual" cd on the target UNIX machine,TAR/ZIP the software on my W2K machine and ftp it to the target machine.
