I think your problem is neither of your suggestions. &nbsp;During the Validate you are setting Cancel = True which forces the focus to remain on the control. &nbsp;To prove this comment out the code in the Validate event. &nbsp;This is not a problem it is what it is there for.<br />

The date time pickers I have on a SSTab are not behaving the way they should. &nbsp;If the validation event fires the focus will remain on the control as &nbsp;long as the user clicks on any control in the tab or anywhere on the form. &nbsp;However, if the user clicks on another tab or indeed on the label of the current tab the date control will lose the focus and the user can continue.<br />

Is this a problem with the DTPicker or the Causes Validation property of the SSTab?<br />

I already have up to Service Pack 5 installed.<br />

The date time pickers I have on a SSTab are not behaving the way they should.  If the validation event fires the focus will remain on the control as  long as the user clicks on any control in the tab or anywhere on the form.  However, if the user clicks on another tab or indeed on the label of the current tab the date control will lose the focus and the user can continue.

Is this a problem with the DTPicker or the Causes Validation property of the SSTab?

I already have up to Service Pack 5 installed.

Any advice greatly appreciated.



DT Picker validation event causing problems
