Windows 2k Confusion with USB Devices
I'm sure everyone has run into this at one time or another. When you install a USB device I am guessing it stores the information on where the device is plugged in. If you unplug the device and then use the pc for a week or so, then plug the device back in and Windows 2000 wants me to supply drivers again. Is there a way around this??? I have users that do not have rights to install devices yet everytime they plug in a printer at home it wants them to supply drivers again even though I previously installed drivers for their home printers.
Thanks,
Brian
