Wierd combobox behavior

hi all!

   Delphi 6 here and win2k.

i have an app that call a plug-in(dll) that i made, but my combobox( in the plugin) dont behave correctly, when i click one time it, instead of dropping down the list and wait till i choose one item, it drop the list and close it. So i have to do a double click to have a dropdown.

that plugin before was in the app and it worked ok, now in this plugin it don't work. My plugin is in a form that is showmodal.

i tried almost everything and i can't get it to dropdown on a single click and to dont close immidiately after, any idea?
thx Chad.

Hi Chadak,

There are a few differences in the way Win98 and Win2000 handle combobox events.
I don't know why, but i have had some difficulties myself.

A way to help you to better understand what's going on, could be to read the notifications from the combobox.
Combobox notifications are delivered by WM_COMMAND. See "Combo Box Notifications" in Windows SDK help file.
