fonts problem

Hi all,
I am having a problem when dealing with the fonts in VB
I have a string variable to store the font name, when I choose , say, Times new Romans, it will have "Times New Roman" stored , pretty normal, the problem occurs when I choose a chinese fonts,  the string will have the value:
"2OcuAe ew Roman                  " in it and there will be an error.
Does anyone know how to solve this?
Thanks.
Joey

Dim fontCount As Long       'this counts how many fonts the computer has

Dim index As Long           'use in loops

On Error GoTo errorhandler

fontCount = Screen.fontCount    'store the number of fonts in the font count variable

For index = 0 To fontCount                      'loop through the fonts adding them to the menu
    If Not Screen.Fonts(index) = "" Then
         cmbFonts.AddItem Screen.Fonts(index)
    End If
