Relent - Twinsen's Adventure , playing in a Pentium III with Win98
Posted on 2003-03-31
Hello everybody.... please, see if there is anyone who can help me....
My name is Leonardo... I'm a brasilian guy... and I'm new here....
I have the game relent- Twinsen's Adventure (an old DOS Game) and I've tried to play it in my pentium III, win 98 computer, but there is a problem....
I've installed in MS-DOS mode and I could play it (after run mscdex to recognize the CD)... I had no problems with it but...... the sound don't work.... and I think that's because MS-DOS mode won't load the sound drivers...(correct me if I'm wrong)
I've tried to run the game under windows by change the "relent.exe" file to run in windows mode but I can only see the presentation and the game don't begin....anyway the sound didn't work too.
So that's it..... I think that there is no way but run the game in MS-DOS mode (what I've already got) but what about the sound? I have a C-media sound card on board in a SIS 620 mother board.
Thank you very much for your help
