SQL server - call asp mail object remotely??

What is the procedure to create an object such as asp mail from a stored procedure, REMOTELY??? Any help would be appreciated.....ie, the asp mail object resides on another server.Thanks.

I don't think this is possible, the component would need to be installed on the local server. This would be the best way to go about it.
However, if that's not possible and you have SQL on the remote server, wrap all the functionality using the asp mail component into a procedure on that remote server. Then, your local SQL Server can link to that remote server and pass any data across via parameters to the procedure which would handle all the object handling.
