Resinstall LILO?

Hi. I am running Slackware 9.0 on one partition, and on another, Windows 98SE. I installed Windows after Slackware, so the MBR was overwritten. What I would like to do is reinstall LILO into my master boot record so I can boot into Slackware again.

as root, and it will reinstall it using your old settings

i should mention you will need to boot from your rescue CD, or linux boot disk - but the original CD's you installed from should have a rescue mode - go into that, and it will walk you though what to do - at the end just type lilo and it will reinstall lilo

There are few differnet methods to get linux work after installing windows.
1)if u have a boot disk. Boot the machine from it.
2) edit the /etc/lilo.conf file
3) add
other=<enter your partition for windows here..... like /dev/hda1>
