Exchange Server Event ID 8213 & 9154
Hi,
Another newbie in Exchange.
I have 2 events repeating several times when I restart the server.
1st:
Source: MSExchangeChat
Category: General
Event ID: 8213
Description: The security package 'PWDSSP' from provider module 'pwdssp.dll' could not be added to the available package list because an implementation was previously loaded from the provider module 'schannel.dll'. This package will be skipped.
2nd:
Source: MSExchangeSa
Category: General
Event ID: 9154
Description: DSACCESS returned an error '0x80070862' on DS notification. Microsoft Exchange System Attendant will re-set DS notification later
So any solution for these 2 events please ?
To be honest, I'm getting fedup with all this, maybe I should change my profession to barbar..!!!!

I'm not sure about the first error. Is this causing you any problems? The second error is generated when E2K is installed on a global catalog and no othere DC is available. Updating Exchange to the latest service pack will resolve this and may also resolve the first message.

Thank you jjmck, I'm downloading the service pack 3 now. Hope someone would highlight something about the first error, or it would also be solved by the service pack.
