Question for BrianGEFF719

You gave me an answer back on the 11th which worked fine. I've come back to the program today and it has stopped working again (it now has your suggested code) any other ideas?
The error I get is
Run-time error '70':
Permission denied

This is happening after the file has been created  and as I try to

Set txsHdrSingle = filHdrSingle.OpenAsTextStream(ForWriting)

Who is Participating?
I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I do not see Set txsHdrSingle = filHdrSingle.OpenAsTextStream(ForWriting)
in the old question from the link above.

I do know that if you use the following code in this way, it will cause the Permission denied error
Set filHdrSingle =  *.CreateTextFile(strFile,True) ' Where the * represents a folder or whatever
 Set txshdrSingle = filhdrSingle.OpenAsTextStream(ForWriting)
This is because you already have an open text stream.  I would check for something like this.
