Connection to an Intranet
Dear Experts,
I have to connect to a shared folder on another network. If I use the VPN option in XP or 2000 when creating a new network connection I am able to connect from home through comcast cable modem.
From my office I can ping the IP address I was told to use but I cannot get to the login prompt. I get an error 619 saying "a connction to the remote computer could not be established".
I am behind an access list but I am not sure what would block this from comming back to me. Does anyone know if I need to add a permit statement with the IP address I am trying to connect with?
Thanks
Reggie
