Booting, resolution and the Nvidia VANTA card...

My father's PC has a Nvidia VANTA card (CompUSA PC, Windows 98). The display does not seem to be able to provide a
resolution more than 640x480 or colors more than 16-bit (High Color). I have tried everything I know to get the display
to 800x600 or higher and no matter what it still won't cooperate or freezes. Is there a specific or generic driver that will
solve my/his problems? Or is there another issue I am unaware of? Thanks...

You need to install the correct video driver for your specific
card and system (Win/98). One should be available from
either the Compaq or nVidia web sites (www.nvidia.com).
