Help Needed

I have been using front page, now I am working with HTML again and it seems I have forgotten what I knew. I want these buttons to line up to the left of the earth gif. I think Im putting the rowspan in the wrong place. Please help.

... the earth.gif was not inside a <td>, so it behaved as if it wasn't in a table.  I also changed the hspace in the image.  Also, for debugging, I set the border="1" in the table tag -- this is always helpful.  I reset it to "0" when finished.
