can't find NT driver for my old Graphic card
the card is: Appian Jeronimo J2N 103B01 V1.07A
it's got no driver for win2000/XP (checked with appian support)
I have it on a working PC that I need to reinstall.
I need one of these solutions:
1 - find the driver
2 - find a way to get the driver files from my living NT machine
I've tried few driver backup utilities but had no luck.

also, it uses Cirrus Logic 5462 chipset, so maybe drivers for the cirrus cards will work

J2 is win2k model. it's a different card.
I'll check the Cirrus Logic

non of the Cirrus Logic drivers have exe file, so it can't be installed.
You don't need .exe files to install a driver. Choose to add new hardware. Choose "have disk" option and
be sure to make the driver files accessible (xdriver.inf file as an example). The needed files may be embedded
in a zipped file or something.

it's winNT, there is no add/remove hardware.
yet, you have display properties which can be accessed from control panel or by right clicking the dektop.
you can add the driver manually from this window/popup

yes, you are right about this but anyway, non of these drivers is good.
the Cirrus Logic 5465 (not the 5462) was the closest but still isn't fully function.
the dual is not working there too.

Download the file, unzip it. Go to the NT4 display properties, change driver (don't recall exactly the steps, been awhile since I used NT4) and point it to the nt4 directory you unzipped from the file and that should do it.

as I already mentioned, I've been there with Cirrus Logic's drivers.
didn't help.
about the steps required...
it's Display properties->Display Settings->Change-> Browes to the file & install
thanks for the effort, please keep on tring (I'm looking for more options)

if its a cirrus logic card, generic svga drivers should work well...have you tried standard pci vga/svga display adaptor?
kiranghag:
Yes, its a CL card, but its also a dual-display card...

guys, it's not a cirrus logic card! it's an Appian Graphics card!!!
maybe...
to make sure that there is no cirrus logic chip inside the cover, download a chip id utility that is available on net. it works only with cirrus chips and tells you which chip you have inside.
if that gives error, you certainly dont have any cirrus based card....
the file is there somewhere in my cds but i dont have the internet link with me now...maybe someone else can locate...

it states it's for the J2, not the J2N, but it might work
