Consuming Web services?
Back when Macromedia was touting the new release of the MX suite on the road, I saw a simple demo of how to find and consume Web services using Dreamweaver's Components panel. I've been asked to create a portal-style page for an intranet, so now I'm looking for neat trinkets and gizmos, plus some serialized information.
I can't find a good article on how to start using RSS feeds; everything I'm finding is about the specification, or about creating your own feed.
Likewise, I'm also finding a great deal about how to create your own web service... but not much about how to find ones that exist, and consume them!
Help! I know I'm probably just not looking in the right places or via the right terms. I've Googled and waded through tons of articles... what I need is "RSS for Dummies" and "Consuming Web Services for Dummies"!

I can upgrade through them fairly easily. Our site doesn't have a lot of complex stuff on it so I don't think we'll have any trouble migrating.
