I have the same video card as you.  A lot of experts have listed that in their hardware forums.  Asus did a great job.  Anyway, CAS latency is the amount of time the ram takes - in nanoseconds - between working times.  Need motherboard suggestions?  I won't need any points for that, nor for other hardware recommendations.  I really hate it when I had to pay for estimates back when I was still excited about my eMachines 366id.

Actually, I've now found out I have a V9520/Magic! No cooling fan so I think I'll definitely have to get that blower you linked to. I liked the last MSI board I had so I think I'll be taking a look at what they offer, but basically I'm looking for a 400MHz board, sound/LAN not necessary (in fact, prefer without) in the $100 region.

It's strange how your computer tastes change... I remember thinking I had a great machine when I had a Celeron 400 Gateway!
