Net::Telnet Question

Last Modified: 2008-03-03
Ive making an application that uses Net::Telnet.
In it, it has to take the output from the connection and place it in a file.
I know that i can use 'get', 'getline' and 'getlines'.

the problem is when i use 'get' i only get a certain number of lines (it connects, gets the directory listings of the drive - returns about 25 lines),
and when i use getlines (which should return all the output data from the object) it times out...no matter how long i set timeout to be.

im using getlines like this:  @lines = $conn->getlines(-timeout => 120);
am i using it wrong? why does it keep timing out? is there another why of getting all the output from the connection?
