FP is changing my code

Hello,

I use Front Page 2002 to do my HTML and then my coding partner opens the pages up and adds PHP code to them to make them dynamic.  Down the raod when I want to edit a page again, I open the .php file in FP and make the HTML edits, but some times front page will change the code on me!  The most common things it does is change certain characters from the PHP scrips to the HTML entities like a <" to a &nsp;&asd; or something along those lines.  Sometimes it will even add a </form> tag right after a form tag we have, even though there is already one at the end of the form! This will cause the form to not work, and it's hard to catch.  The odd thing is, I will have the page in CODE view, fix what FP messed up, then hit save, and right in front of my eyes it changes it back!  Is there any way to patch front page or somehow tell it NOT to change the code at all no matter what?

Thanks.
