I need help urgently

I have a screen that has an image of a button on a background. I don't use a regular button because graphic designer came up with specific image and client seems happy with the look and feel.  It's on a background in a specific cell which allows me to change text of this background image based on language dynamically. Now the client wants me to simulate UI where it will look 'Pressed' when user clicks on it. I'm not sure how to do it. If this was an image in a foreground I can swap with another image on click. But this is in a background. Is there a way to swap background image with another background image. Or how do I make it look 'Pressed' like a button. If someone can show me code, I would highly appreciate it.
I would like to avoid having different images for different languages for the same button. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
