corel problem

I have got a file from my customer which has a cdr extesion.But it did not open, how to open it.

Viewing it and saving it/using it are different issues. Not much will hande corel draw files so you might ask the customer to export it to PDF, EPS, TIFF etc and send you that instead of CDR.
xnview will convert the cdr to over 20 different formats.

There is not 100% compatible CDR viewer.  If it is a complex file, you will not get what your client intended.  Lens effects that were not frozen, in-tact blends, extrusions, and perspectives will all revert to their parent object.

If you just need a conversion, shoot the file to me at boutwell-AT-sitemaster.com (please use standard e-mail nomenclature) and let me know whaat format you need.  Mods if I am breaking a rule by offering to do this, please delete this post...I didn;t recall seeing anything about offering to help personally in the guidelines.
Youre into a gray area there. Doesn't help anyone reading this in the future if they have to find someone to send the file to.
