I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Okay, I was able to reproduce the error in Month view in my Calendar, it turns out that since the month view, I needed to move the bar on the right side of the calendar over to the left and my Taskpad reappeared.  If you are using month view, change to one of the other views and see if you taskpad is there, if so, try the above.
