I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Liddlers right but you can't use the convert command on the C drive if you are typing it from the C drive.  Do it from the D Drive or A Drive

Actually you can... it just says "OK, I can't do that right now... but I'll do that on next reboot"

Remember to also apply the default security template to the new NTFS system files (since after conversion, they will be Full Control to Everyone)
