mapping software with VB

Is it possible to use VB to integrate microsoft streets and trips with Access, or do I need MapPoint for this?

i don't know about those program but as long as they belongs to M$, sure they would have some sort of Automation througth COM.

ok thought so....it just looked like MapPoint had alot more built-in info.
