Burning CDs with Nero on a 2000 Domain

Hi,

I have installed a CD-RW drive into a 2000 computer on a 2000 domain and the drive appears to work fine.

However I have installed Nero (Version 5, that came with the drive), when I open Nero it says:-

"Under Windows NT4/2000 burn rights are required by Nero to access cd recorders and cd-rom/dvd-rom drives.
Please ask your system administrator for permission to use Nero"

The problem is that this message comes up even if I am logged in as administrator (Both domain and local).

What do I need to do to grant this permission?

Thanks
Norman

You'll need Nero BurnRights - see http://www.nero.com/en/631940824944968.html and download teh program from ftp://ftp6.nero.com/NeroBurnRightsInstaller.exe

Hi PashaMod,

I feel that the solution proposed by jkr is probably correct under normal circumstances however there is obviously something else needed that I have not done in my situation.

Therefore jkr has helped me on my way but I have not yet solved the problem.

Thanks
