Outlook Express problem

Ive got OE 6.00.28 etc.  I use is for email and newsgroup access.  I used to be registered under a server called - i forget - i think it was newsfree-cash-serv2, something like that, but for some reason, every 12 months, it shuts down and I need to set up a new server.  So this time I went to newzbot.com to find a large, and good server and found news4.euro.net - got it set up, but when I select the option "reset list" it starts counting, up, up, up, to around 36,000 but then it stops.  I do a control/alt/del to see the status, and it has "not responding" and I must select "end task" to get out.  This happens every time.  Whats going on ? How can it be fixed?  Alternatives are ok too. I want a server that has a high # of groups (better chance my group is on it), and I want it reliable.  I presently use google.com to post my newgroup entries, but it would be great if I can post directly to my newgroup from Outlook Express.  Any help is appreciated.

I checked it out - i dont think it applies.  Im not running dual browsers, just Outlook Express.  Trying to find out why it locks-up or how to fix it. Any other ideas are appreciated.

Learn Ruby Fundamentals

This course will introduce you to Ruby, as well as teach you about classes, methods, variables, data structures, loops, enumerable methods, and finishing touches.

Fixed the problem myself. According to the web site below, they referred to a file named "Folders.dbx" that was the cause of a slow down in performance in OE.  I used their suggested to delete the file and that seemed to work.  I started the reset and it worked just fine.

Now, how to I close this out without loosing the points?

To the Administrators.  I suggest PAQing this Qustion as a good reference to a handy tip rather than deleting it.
