GroupWise alias or nickname

When you set up an alias in Groupwise how do you set it to display the alias as the from address when the user send mail.
Can this even be done if you use the same domain name?
Ex: Original Email is abc@abc.com
I want to change it to abc1@abc.com without getting rid of the user name.
We are using GW 6.0

OK, I haven't tried this in 6.0, but I seem to recall that in 6.5 you can override the Internet Options on a per-user basis. In ConsoleOne, go to the GroupWise view and select the user you want to do this for, and open them up. I forget which tab it is (and I don't have my GroupWise console in front of me right now) but there is one where you can get their Internet ID. Select the alias you want as the primary. If this doesn't get you where you need to be, let me know, and next week I'll get in front of a GroupWise console and get more specific.

Short answer: Yes, this can be done (at least in v6.5 - not 100% sure about 6.0 and I don't have access to a 6.0 environment to check).

Thanks for the info.
I found out I can simply change the email address in console1 in the groupwise view.
That is what I really wanted to do.
Thanks for the help.
