Asus Motherboard Not Being Recognized
Well I have a brand new motherboard
ASUS P4C800-E DELUXE
I have updated the bios before, but now when I just went to do it today, with the program called 'Asus Update' it says it cannot find a Asus motherboard, then just shuts down automatically
Well I thought it was a corrupted file, uninstalled, and now I can even instal it because the same error comes up saying it cannot find an Asus motherboard
Its worked before?
Something corrupted or what?
I just formated my computer(1 hour ago) with a new harddrive, so its not that......

Actually updating a bios is not neccesary unless it really needs an update, It can harm your motherboard and might not
function well if not done correctly.
Here are some advice based on my experience hope it helps :
1.) Try downloading the original BIOS setup and install it on the system.
If did not worked try this :
1.) Remove the battery of the motherboard and wait for 5 min and put it back again.
2.) Remove the small jumpers of the motherboard of the system for 5 min and put it back again.
3.) Try restarting.
If did not worked use this :
