W2000 - here's the policy: must be a minimum of eight characters, at least one capital and at least one number. (Depends on your security needs) always best not to use a word that can be found in the dictionary.
Go to....
start, settings, control panel, administrative tools, local security settings, account policies, password policy, right click and choose security.
Here you can set the password to meet you security requirements.
